So, when you throw the NFL at me, it's all skittles and beer? I use it back, and you start crying? And, the whole point of this shit IS how insignificant this joke sport is, compared to the other sports we watch over here. Stay on track, you dim bulb.
I gave you too much credit. I guess as your reading comprehension ability can?t be sustained over the course of multiple posts within the same thread it seems. Let me lay it out sequentially to see if you can follow along:
1. You asked ?it?s where??, in regards to the sport of soccer in the United States.
2. BBC replied that it was on ESPN, Fox and NBC in particular their websites. He gave additional examples but we?ll leave the focus here for now. I fear losing you again.
3. You followed up with: ?After the WC is over, you won't see these web sites "leading with" soccer?.
4. I chimed in with a note that none of these sites are leading with the Super Bowl Champions. Just an example as the NFL is the biggest sport in the country, but it doesn?t ?lead? the sports news on a daily basis. Especially in the off season of the sport.
5. You replied with the notion that the NFL is covered at a 500:1 clip more newsworthy than soccer on these sites. Here is where common sense is left at the curb and you diverge down a side street trying to search for the finish line you desperately crave in a race you probably shouldn?t have bothered entering. No one in the thread has made the claim that soccer is as popular as the NFL (or college football even) or stating that it will be at that level in the near future. A sport being popular and being at the level of the most popular sport in the country are two far different things. Go back and read that last sentence one more time, I feel it will do you some good.
6. I point out that no one has stated soccer is going to be as big as the NFL.
7. You start eating skittles, state I?m crying and label soccer a ?joke sport?. Yeah, I?m the dim bulb in this one.
Hopefully that helps you. If not, since you won't be tied up this afternoon watching such a silly game, head down to the library and see if there is anyone there that can lend a hand in walking you through this minefield of a debate.
