I have not watched one second of the world cup. Doesn't mean I am a hater of the sport, I'm not. Since I can't watch Dodger baseball due to those Time Warner fuckers the only event coming which will interest me is the British Open. Carry on peeps.
A quick search shows the tv ratings for yesterday's game aren't available but it astounds me that anyone would actually think this is plausible. 25 million watched the game vs. Portugal and they expect yesterday's figures to be as high if not higher.

86,000 in the rose bowl tonight for a preseason game. Sporting KC announced I'm conjunction with the USSF a $75 million training facility to be up in Kansas City in 2015. To be paid for in public funds. Can't wait until this sport becomes accepted here.

Football is just around the corner. Jacksonville average was 60,000 in 2013 for a crappy 4-12 team. Its all good.

Looks like you have things figured out. How many seasons was the XFL around? How many seasons has MLS been around? Which league is still expanding?
Oh yeah, the Jaguars had 60k in attendance per game. That was actual fans in the stadium right? Or did that count what the team bought to not have blackouts as well as all the promotions like free beer to get fans in the stadium?
