thanks Jack, my friend Lisa is playing the Ladies event again this year. She wants me to come out but if I can't make it, at least got a decent place to rail her from a distance!

I will be routing for one of my good buddies out there. He dropped out of college when we were at UT and plays pro now. Will keep you guys updated on how he does. His name is Matt Giannetti if anyone cares.

His roommate in vegas just won his first braclet, like 800k I think. In the 10k PL Omaha event. Nenad Medic.

I'm interested. Keep us updated on how he does; better yet, does he have a blog, or what is he doing besides the big tourneys? I've played against Nenad Medic on ft before I think; he plays in smaller tourneys sometimes.

He actually doesn't play in to many tournaments other then the big ones. He typically plays in the WPT and WSOP... not much other than that.

He is a cash game player by trade... you can find him in Omaha H games on FT under TheLiptonKid. Don't think he plays at PS much anymore, but he is Hazards21 there. Mainly plays cash games in Vegas and LA though.

Last year Bluff named him an up-and-comer in a little article about him. They told his story about our frosh yr of college. He dominated the local games for a bit, took his game online and lost like $500 on his CC in a week. His dad was pissed so said he wouldnt play. His friend transfered him $40 he owed him and he started playing small cash games and never looked back.

Convinced his parents to let him drop out, on the fact that he put aside enough money to go back to school.

We will be going out to Vegas to visit him after the WSOP like we did last year.... unless he makes a big final table, then we will be out there a little early to party.
