yeah gun control is not a deterrent to crazy and nobody said it was.
but open your fucking eyes and look at the 2 crazy people that committed disgusting acts today.
in china a crazy guy attacked a school with a knife and NOBODY died.
in connecticut a crazy guy went on a shooting rampage with a gun and 20 CHILDREN WERE MURDERED.
you are never going to stop crazy people but take the amount of guns away and maybe an incident or two will be stopped or severely scaled down.
You can't make that comparison. And don't tell me there are no guns in China.

I thought hand guns where the weapons that did the killing. I don't know enough about this to argue with you (my TV is not on, makes me sick to watch anything about it) but you're still not getting rid of guns. Keep barking at the moon.

the assault rifle was found in the car I believe. the handguns may have done the killing but he still had an assault rifle that he brought with him.
what positive purpose does an assault rifle serve in our society? the weapon in question that he had was a bushmaster or something. dont know about guns so not sure if that is a brand or what but what reason any person not living in a fucking warzone would need an assault rifle is beyond me.

One thing that hasn't been discussed is the reduction of safety nets for the mentally ill. In the past many of these patients were institutionalized. Now they are thrown back into the community to fend for themselves.
just curious...how you gonna keep guns out of the hands of those that really,really want them(the professional bad guys) when you don`t even have the political will to SEAL YOUR OWN BOrDER......
if drugs are coming into the country hand over fist and the feds are incapable of stopping them,why would the government be any more successful keeping guns out?....can`t keep people or drugs out....
we have no political will in this country...all somebody has to do is call anyone that wants to seal the border "racist" and they`re reduced to a simpering pile of goo(regardless of how much common sense it makes)........
