thanks guys...
play #22....
under 52 ohio st / texas......
the osu offense has been mediocre this year as they are ranked 37th in the country in rushing yards...& as a team, they run for about 191.6 ypg on the ground & have scored 20 rushing tds......they are ranked 68th in the country in passing yards per attempt....their qb is freshman, pryor took over the starting job after just a couple of games & for the year he has completed 95-of-152, 1,245 yards, 12 tds,& 4 ints.... he has rushed for 553 yards & six tds....but make no mistake if osu can't run, they can't win....
the texas defense ranks 2nd in the country against the run, allowing 73.6 ypg...they also lead the nation in sacks & held 7 opponents to 14 points or less....& have held every opponent under its season average in total yardage.....& considering the explosive offenses in the big 12 this year, that is pretty impressive.....
we know that the texas offense is lead by a truly great qb....colt mccoy finished the 2008 regular season with 32 td passes against only 7 ints, & he threw for 3,445 yards while completing an incredible 77.6 percent of his passes.....& ut averages about 140 rushing yards per game on the ground at about 3.9 ypc.....
only usc produced more than 3 tds against the osu defense, which is led by maybe the best corner in the nation, jenkins & award winning lb laurinatis.....
after being embarrassed in the last 2 bowl games i think osu will do everything that they can to not get into a track meet with texas.....
there are about an equal amount of trends favoring the under with the over....
a system....
play under - neutral field teams where the total is between 49.5 and 56 (both teams apply to this system) - a top-level team (>=80%) playing a team with a winning record, in a non-conference game between 2 teams from major division 1-a conferences.
since 1992 the record is......45-17......72.6%
over the last 3 seasons the situation's record is.....6-0
the average total posted in these games was.....52.9
the average score in these games was....team 25.2, opponent 24.9 (total points scored = 50.1)
good luck
