FDC and TU can't keep anything serious.
I hope it doesn't discourage you from answering questions.

Any Casinos?
Any Baseball?
How often do you eat fish?
Do they have beef?
How are the roads and drivers?
Any hope it may sink back into the sea soon?
Oh you said "life" in Peru. Do you have any good bass fishing? How is the cocaine export business there?
Are there more colored folk or Jews in Peru?
Why do you live in peru?
How would you compare it to Ecuador? We thought that sounded like a good place to retire to.
Finally caught up. That tired me out a bit. Feel free to keep them coming, but further answers will have to wait until tomorrow. If I missed any of your (serious) questions, then I apologize. Feel free to point it out or ask me again. :0008
Do you make your own surfboards or do you import them from California.
I came to Colombia in September of 2010 for what was a planned week vacation. When it was time to go back to Iowa City to face another winter, I found that I just couldn't get on the plane. I found some work I could do online and decided to see how long I could stay. I stayed there for nearly three months. I went to Ecuador next for a couple months, and I got to Peru in February of 2011. I have enjoyed the hell out of myself ever since. I had always wanted to surf since I was a little kid; it was one of my fondest wishes, and I have now accomplished that lifelong dream.
I miss some things, of course. I miss my friends and family the most. I miss disc golf. I miss going into a sports bar. I also really, really miss good beer. I would kill for a tasty IPA right about now. I also miss being able to see any movie I want in the theater in its intended language. For example, I really wanted to see The Hobbit in that new 48 frames-a-minute format, but I fucking hate dubbed movies. I hated dubbed foreign movies (but watched loads of subtitled movies) and never watched them in the States, and I refuse to watch movies in my native tongue that are dubbed in Spanish.
To sum things up: I live here because things are cheap, the weather is amazing and I can surf to my heart's content.
Very interesting. You have no family in Peru. So do you have friends you can hang with or a girl friend? Without someone to share life adventures with I would think it would get old being alone. On the other hand maybe not.
