It may not have affected the outcome of the Colts game but it certainly could have provided enough edge to defeat the Ravens a week earlier. Yes, there is news that the Ravens suspected that balls were under-inflated.

:popcorn2

you are right about that Jack, absolutely no effect in the Colts game. 150+ yards rushing, three rushing touchdowns from Blount, and ultimately Colts only .7 points on the board. Actually, the Colts complaining after absolutely getting their asses handed to them is ridiculous. Evidently, the ravens did have complaints the previous week, but it was regarding their kicking balls. And their punter registered kicks of 49, 51, and 53 yards. Tucker, hit all his kicks also. To me personally, I would respect a complaint much more from Baltimore, as that was a game that easily could have went either way. Indianapolis was completely overmatched, not only in that game, but in their previous three games with New England lost by an average of 27 points, and lost in the AFC championship by 38.

Many quarterbacks have admitted doctoring, game balls as this controversy has moved forward. Evidently, Rodgers prefers the ball over inflated. It is routine and customary for game balls to be scoffed and broken in before NFL games. The issue is this? After they are worked over the way various quarterbacks prefer them, they are submitted to the referee two hours before kickoff. After that point, they are no longer allowed to be modified.

I have no doubt. After hearing this nonstop all day on sports radio, these balls were deliberately deflated. I don't think it's an accident. 11 of the 12 were underinflated. I don't think it's a huge deal, and definitely didn't affect the score of the Colts game. If any of the franchise did this it would not be a big deal. But with all the previous transgressions (spy gate), and Bill Belichick's propensity to be a pompous cock continually. They are going to have to lay in the bed they made on this one.

Ravens vs Colts for right to play in Super Bowl. Give the Patriots the death penalty for a few years. Sick of Brady the robot anyway.

Will the NFL try and "over" punish the Pats to compensate for all of the miscues w/early punishments?

So why did the Pats cheat then......
I don't think the Pats did, I think Brady did, and it's probably nothing new. I'm sure it's been going on routinely for some time. And many other quarterbacks manipulate the balls to their liking. Rodgers just spoke out last week how he likes his overinflated. Kickers were doctoring balls for years, it's nothing new. That's why eight years ago. The officials stop monitoring the game balls so extensively, because they were taking more time to monitor the kicking balls. The patriots are getting the ball back, because they have the patriots, have circumvented the rules. previously, and Bill Belichick is a colossal cock, who treats the media rudely at every chance.

Agreed and I think Brady and BB should pay a heavy price for cheating.

A punishment probably isn't likely until after the SB but I bet there is suspension (s) and many games, possibly a whole year.

So you're saying they needed to cheat to have the chance to win against a team that sucks.....got it.....:0008:0008

no, not quite? Of the 53 man roster. I doubt five players knew anything about the pressure in the balls. I'm saying Brady feels the need to manipulate the balls to his liking. Now the whole organization will pay, and should pay some price for it.

There must be a rule for a reason.

Brady doesn't like the official ball so he gets to customize it to suit himself?

What rules are they allowed to break and what rules are they not allowed to break?

a softer ball makes it easier to grip and throw.

probably makes it easier to catch when Brady zings it in there.

no way to prove it. Carry on............

nothing will be done about this.

its old news already.

The Hernandez trial is due to start very shortly. There is a very real chance Belichick will be subpoenaed to testify in that trial. Although, without question Belichick is responsible for a lot of the success of the franchise, Robert Kraft has endured significant embarrassment throughout spy gate, the Hernandez murders, and now this. Believe me when I tell you, blind faith in Bill is a waning in New England. This one is pissing people off, and the trial will be off the charts negativity towards the franchise.
