I know you didn't just say Aramis Ramirez LMFAO

Derek Lee I'll give you. I definately think he's up there. However, Ramirez will be lucky to even hit .300, yet alone contend for the MVP race. HAHAHA

Really?
You mean the same Aramis Ramirez that had the game tying home run in Colorado last nite? You know them don't you? The Rockies? Defending NL Champs, didn't they kick the hell outta your Braves and Chippy last year? The thing about being a homer is that you have to be able to realize you are just being a homer.
The Braves nor Chipper will contend for anything and that is the quintessential truth Ruth. You know it and so does everybody else. Besides aren't there like 147 games remaining? Isn't it a bit early to starting licking Chip now?
Just saying..............

Hope this helps

as I said

Book it!!!!

LOL, the guy hit a homerun last night against a team who's not even gonna make the playoffs this year. Let's get real, they had a magical run last year, but it's over. When he goes 0-4 with 3 strike outs and grounds into a double play, are you gonna come here and still toot his horn?

I will be you $1,000 Aramis Ramirez doesn't even make TOP5 of neither the MVP or Batting title.

I can be a homer all I want, but the fact is, I've watched him play. He's gonna win the batting title, and when he does, you'll be LICKING, EATING, STUFFING, whatever you wanna call it...LOTS OF CROW.

fats

you should take that bet.

Ive got 200 bucks worth of filet mignon steaks riding on Chipper falling of f the horse batting leader.

did you ever read about Chipper cheating on his wife with his nanny .

I think he was one of them that married her. I never cared for him after I read that little episode.

something about morals and common decency

Scott,
You are absolutely correct. I should take that bet however I have no idea who he is and I am not going to get into a wager over the internet with anyone that is that naive. They rarely work out in the end, and the truth of the matter is that I really couldn't give a rats ass either. Chipper will get hurt..................again. Ramirez was in the top five last year just as he was the year before I believe and Chipper was nowhere to be found. He is consistent in that he will have over thirty dingers and more than 100 RBI's and he now has the most exciting teams and players in recent memory behind him, all playing well. Andruw Jones is gone right? Figuratively and literally I believe, it should all be an afterthought by around July and we will be having an entirely different conversation on what the bet was and all that................hell I'm too busy for all that crap. With that, and the sneaking suspicion that the "nanny" may actually be BucsnotYucks, I choose not to run!!!!!!!

I have noticed, that you are becoming quite the sage leader amongst the folks here these days!!!
People are banging on my friend Vinnie, Agent hasn't called me any names lately and Eddie Haskell hardly gives me the time of day anymore. Man, I must be getting old and I'm only 43?!?!!?! Who would have thunk it. First the wheel, now this.:00hour

I have watched him play too, Chipper and Aramis, Chipper will not win the batting title nor any titile for that matter, he never has and never will. As far as tooting anything goes, I rarely put anything in my mouth that I don't know the origin of. If you are still tatste testing everything to see if it tastes like your favorite rattle than so be it, but I assure you the only "tooting" I will be doing this year will be in the ole girls mudwhistle. You see Bucsnot.... I am aware of the date and the number of games played so far. I am still watching Hockey for chrissakes, so before you start dusting off a spot on your big wheel to attach Chipper's card to, wait for the pitchers to warm up and get healthy. On another note, which may be far more important to you, fruit roll ups are on sale this week at Walgreens.

Hope that helps,

FDC

Ramirez was in the top five last year just as he was the year before I believe and Chipper was nowhere to be found.

Next time you talk, you should probably get your facts right.

Last year, Chipper finished 6th, with actually getting votes. Ramirez? 13th place, almost a full 60 points behind Chipper.

In 2006, Ramirez didn't even enter the discussion of top 10.

In 2005, Ramirez didn't even enter the discussion of top 10.

Yes, I am....only if they're strawberry flavored.

Big Darryl fan are ya?:142smilie

Good luck with your boy this year just don't think he will stay healthy and don't downplay the importance of having either Fukudome or Soriano hitting behind you?!?!?!

I think it is all flavors anyway. I like cherry...........not so much for the flavor or the word affiliation to lost virginity, more so due to the fact that I never thought Bing Crosby got as much credit for his USO work as did Bob Hope........ So I am somewhat of a Bing fan. I think everybody is either a Bing or a Bob really.

Me being a Bing guy, it is only natural to prefer the bing cherry flavor rather than something in a lemon(as in Bob).

Hope that helps,

FDC

I am kinda wondering why " no one cares " is leading with 4 votes.

wtf - why did I even put that in there as option.

oh the total inhumanity of it all

PS - I am gratefull that people are not voting in the KOD security area, it makes it difficult for me to tally final vote counts:SIB

be happy he only called you stupid, he call me lots of things. Sage is a wise advisor or a strong smelling pleasant tasting herb. Used much in stuffings and poultry. Yea I kind of dug the fruit roll up thing too.

I don't know if the Cubs are better without him and his power and speed but being that they are currently the best team in baseball as indicated by their record, getting any better would be downright scary don't you think

Alot of baseball people will tell you that Soriano's "swing for the fences" and never taking pitches at the leadoff spot is embarassing and killing to cubs.

I'd put Soriano 5th

I think I figured out your problem. You simply put too many choices in your polls. Keep it to under ...say...8 at the most choices and I know my own enthusiasm and participation would increase.

This is the USA, not some silly European parliament with more selections than we can count. Keep it simple - maybe offer a libertarian or green choice, but don't go much beyond that.;)
