As Jack pointed out, you are the one cherry picking stats. I put up stats that are encompassing of a player's overall value. You point out stats that only support Jeter because of his longevity. And yes, he's played 20 seasons and was rarely hurt and racked up the hits, definitely deserves accolades if they are for that and his longevity. But take a step back and look at the big picture. He was below average as a defensive shortstop and that negated what he brought to the table for his teams by a good offensive shortstop. Ever hear of UZR?
And yes, I would consider A-Rod a better shortstop then Jeter if he had stayed at the position or if he moves back even.
You are blinded obviously so I'm not sure what the point of arguing any further is. I'll stand by what I said earlier. The only people that would think he is the 'greatest' are either Jeter or Yankee fans.
