Jail time sucks

I once posted a $3000.00 bail bond for my brother. After his sentencing hearing and his faithful appearance in court throughout the proceeding, I requested and received a full refund of my bond the next day . . . You can then probably count on applying the money toward your attorney fees.

Couple of years ago I got a call from my old bosses sister. Seems her brother was in jail and wanted to know if I would bail him out. (Cant accept collect calls on cell phones..thats why he called his sister to get ahold of me)
Told her no problem. Bail was $250 but had to wait 6 friggin hours for them to out-process him.
His charge......Solicitation.:142smilie :142smilie
He tried to pick up a hooker and only it was an undercover officer.:mj07: :mj07: He swears to this day that he was wrongly arrested. Dont believe it because if the charges were dropped the bail money would have come back to me. I believe he pled guilty and the money was applied to the fine. Talk to him a couple of times a year and still give him chit about it.

Senor Capper do not let that what "Shoulda been an abortion" talk to you like that. Then again when the members of MJ are done with his wife or girlfriend at the superbowl party this year or next I am sure he will be asking her bout every hole.

Why did you show your weapon? That weapon should only be shown if you intend to use it or if it was a life and death situation.
Even if these people were hard to deal with you should not have shown your weapon. The cops brought you in so your A$$ could cool down.IMHO

You could probably get an acquittal if you get a lawyer. I don't know what the fine is for that, but you probably won't be able to carry anymore.

some states have a minimum 30 days jail time for brandishing weapons. I might check into that?

I don't know if this is a strict liability crime.. because even if you didn't mean to you're still at fault.
