I find it comical that this thread is now 114 posts long debating this.
FDC, I said this 100 posts ago that 100% evidence is not needed. This isn't a court case. There is enough evidence with the texts. And not cooperating with the investigation piles onto it.

I swear to Christ I'm done coming into this thread and debating this with someone that fails to see the violation. Enjoy your day. :mj01:
That's where we differ gags. I believe for one person to look another in the eye and say you did this. ... There should be proof.

This is Brady's job. Would you accept this level of evidence against yourself if your place of employment were suspending you.
I don't agree with it, sorry. I don't believe you suspend the burden of proof simply because it's the nfl and Tom Brady.

I assure you this suspension would not stand a chance in hell to survive a grievance in any union I've ever been a part of.

No matter how you explain this as him being guilty, you have to make assumptions in order to present it. Sorry, I don't believe you can fine someone or suspend them in any other trade union with assumption.

Also, didn't the report say that the Patriots organization "kinda sorta, probably, I betcha any money, he's a dick anyway, you know they wanted to, magic 8 ball says not likely that the organization wasn't involved yet they lose draft picks?

Goodell is an absolute moron.

So do none of you care that Aaron Rodgers admitted to over inflating footballs and seeing if they got past the refs and got no fine? What about the Chargers getting caught red handed cheating by using towels with stick-um in them to rub the footballs during the game and got a $20,000 fine even though Rivers is on tape doing it. What about Minnesota and Carolina caught on tape heating footballs with heaters during a game, a clear violation of rules, and a memo was sent from the league not to do it again. Brady gets 4 games and a $250,000 fine for "more probable than not being generally aware" that the balls were being deflated. Not a single thing about being deflated below legal limits not even a thing about him being responsible for it and some actually still think this is fair? No bias at all right? All fair and equitable treatment right?

I am very confident that the scale of this infraction was large and in place for several years. The fumble stats since 2007 backup that assertion.

Yeah, those other things are very minor compared to this. But you are right, they should get in trouble too. :0008

You don't know that to be true at all. That's not how justice works Smurphy. It just isn't. How do you know it's not because they worked on it and brought in coaches just for that purpose and if that were true why is Ridley tagged with having fumble problems.
The other teams clearly violated the rules and on video tape!

This is more probable than not? I can only imagine is the same measure of supposition was levied against you, how you'd protest it?

Rules are rules and if you break them you suffer the same sentence as everyone else.

Keep in mind that the Chargers had to order those towels special. They are from a company that provides towels with adhesive in them that is undetectable to the immediate eye. They intended to cheat for weeks and yet still "more probable than not" is the more egregious?
I'll never understand how that can possibly be correct, sorry. I just won't

I feel there is enough evidence, and so did the NFL. The team's poor track record and lack of cooperation only adds to the case.

As someone else (probably several) have already pointed out, this isn't a legal case.

Yes, they got caught taping defensive signal callers. What was Tom Brady's culpability in that?

It doesn't have to be a court case to rise to the definitive level of guilt. Guilt is guilt To be fined for breaking a rule you still have to be guilty of it. There is already more evidence against Rodgers for altering ball pressure beyond legal limits with his admission.

I saw in another thread, you expressed some severe disdain for Brady and the Pats. I think there is enough evidence for me to say that you're guilty of unfair and biased judgement. Also, taking past posts into account, it's quite apparent that you've held this bias for some time.

I think a limited ban and a fine may be forthcoming for you

Hope this helps,
FDC

Nope. No history of me hating the Patriots. In fact I had found myself rooting for them on many occasions. I'm definitely fed up with them now. I feel strongly that they are a team that cheats more often than most.

I am sorry that you are unsatisfied with the events that have unfolded. May the 2015 season bring you good fortune. :0008
