Thanks Jack and Gayle for making me and Maria (my girlfriend) feel comfortable and for the over all great time. If I can get paid, will even give the sponsor BETCris a go for foots. Maria really keep saying how great everyone is. We couldn't have gotten a better day or evening weather wise. (Jack, I owe 11 cents to your corporation. The hotel room was slightly less than the check you gave me)

just a few notes real quick (cuz I gots to work early am).....

Jack actually had a semi tracker flipped South of Indiana so it would draw all police units and many could safetly do 90 plus to get to the program without fear of law enforcement. Now that's power!

I now know why Jack and Kneifl are compadres, they both have a thing for tiny (not little) dogs. (or their women do??)

Double H is about as passive as one of Micheal Vicks dogs. Don't let her size or post content deceive you. Whoever ends up being her other half is taking up a task that has sent many a warrior running back to mama. lol

I know the real story behind the man YYZ. Radioactive spider and his line of work.

Buy up all open stock options for St Pauli Girl beer cuz Handi Capper seemed to take a liking to them and I think I created a monster. (great kid too)

This forum posting stuff does no justice to the strong personalities of Gmroz, Boilermaker and Roll Tide. It's something you definitely catch in person. Many others (such as Phenom, DTB, Lewehands) are as solid as they come across here. I met all the others that went but unfortunately didn't have enough time to spend with them.

Their was a silent moment at our end of the party for the recent (hopefully short) disappearance of BDB. I embraced Agent and stroked his hair softly till we each could stand again.

Jack said the "S" word. NOBODY had a thing to say (Thanks Peeps!!!) on the subject and it lasted about as long as a snowflake in Africa. If a tree falls in the woods...........

All the guys from South of Indy were great. The guys from the Political Forum were all actually real quality breathing human beings and too damn quiet after reading what they type here.

Agent ask me if I was PF. You guys should stop with the foreplay and fvk already. lol Too bad you couldn't make it PF. Everything was great.

The funniest moment hands down (woke up laughing to this).....

Talking to many at the party about this and that and suddenly here from my left a phrase is fired, "My God, does he have sleep apnea?" Could have been Double H?:mj07: :mj07: :mj07:

Everything in my time with MJr's this weekend was about humor. Hopefully some of that can carry through to here.

BBC I'll talk to you in the near future. YYZ I'll be asking Jack for your email.

I had a wonderful time this weekend. So many good people that flock to MadJacks and it?s really a reflection of how nice and genuine of a guy he is (We?ll definitely spend more time next year). Many thanks to him and Gayle for preparing their home to feed an army.

Finally got to meet my internet BFF, Kosar. He?s as funny and entertaining in person as he is on the boards ? Being that ?on? all the time must really be tiring ? Sorry I didn?t get a chance to say goodbye :) . The funny thing about the picture of Kosar ?recharging?, there were at least 5 people including me who said ?Poor Matt? before during and after we took the picture. It was if we were all drawn to take the photo by a power greater than ourselves. Weird.

Congratulations go out to DTB and 6?5? for shooting a -6 with Kosar and I on their team (no small feat) Golf?s a pretty dumb, frustrating game (like all games I suck at), but it was enjoyable shooting the shit with those three. And Li was nice enough to only laugh at one shot of mine (out loud, anyway)

Also very glad to meet IO in person. If you like people from Chicago, you?ll like him. I?ve got 5 friends just like him (Maybe not as intense). It was a pleasure meeting you and Maria. I?ll be in touch soon.

But like yyz said, everyone?s good people and you should all get to an outing. So, hopefully I convinced enough people to have the Super Bowl Party at the Grand Victoria Casino in Bea-yoo-ti-ful Elgin, Illinois and we?ll see some more people there. (IO ? can you please forward that study that said that Elgin had more murders per capita than Washington, D.C, Gary, IN and Detroit combined)

And lastly, let it be known to all members that I am switching my allegiance from the Agent Haters to the Pro-Agent group with the Indiana guys. Any derogatory or coarse word against him is a derogatory and coarse word against me. I finally buy Jack?s ?he?s just misunderstood? line.

Thanks again, Jack and BetCris!

glad to hear everyone had a great time. HH, nice job on the pics. good to put faces to names. I think I should go to the next golf outing and play in a foursome of non-golfers so I wouldn't feel so bad about playing sh*tty. I'll need to borrow someone's clubs, left or right handed I'm pretty sure it doesn't matter... :SIB

Penguin......you are one angry dadgone dude. Get the hell over it, Mr. No Show Pengieeeeeeee. Agent was a great guy, as were all the fellow MadJackers. You seriously are a jerk for your comments.:nono: Just rolled back into ATL and wanted all to know it was a safe round trip for Angela and myself. Jack, what a great time and sorry that I didn't express it enough as we left. What a great surrounding as well as great company. From the moment that I rolled into the parking lot and RollTide offered Bloody Mary's out of the back of his car ( and NEVER LOCKED IT during the day so anyone could get anything out at anytime)) to the party was amazing to all. :00hour Thanks for the starter drink RollTide!!!!!!!! My team, great time and laughs were plenty. Sorry we didn't do better. but 11 under would have NEVER been reached even in our wildest dreams!!!!!!!!! Angela still says we were the best looking team to face the course. Had a great time my friends!!!!! :00hour

Kinda like a mushroom or any other fungus, I just grow on ya! (BBC how much do I owe you again for that comment?)

Another funny moment I forgot to share was Jacks wife Gayle running out to the driveway to tell someone something and forgetting she had that little dog in her arms (electric fence!!!).

That dog looked like it got tased from 6 directions:mj07: :mj07: :mj07: and was shakin worse than abc hitting a tee shot over water.

I/O is dead on about HH, while playing Chinese poker for the first time with Rolltide and Dunclock, she had quad 8's and was dance1 :jump: :spotting::11jackson and it would have given her an 18 point swoop. I stood mesmerized and in awe for a good while before I slow rolled her with my quad 9's. Needless to say she was a little bitter!:poke

Rest assured Agent, I made it home without issue.

Jack: Can you please change my forum name to "TrainWreck"? At least I was smart enough to stop drinking after golfing.....it could have gotten really ugly. I think the four plates of food helped sober me up.

I played with RollTide (excellent bartender), Boilermaker and his buddy Randy. What a great group to drink/golf with. Ron, I don't know where you dug that dude up, but he is hilarious! Tell Randy I'm a big fan.

Had some great conversations with I/O, Handi Capper, SixFive, Kosar, and many others. Well worth the 3.5 hour ride in.

Thanks to No Pepper and Kevin for driving me around all day. I appreciate it.

Thanks for putting this together Jack! The golf, the food, the good people.....Great time!!

You guys keep talking about how I passed out on the 18th hole before magically coming back to life, but I think you are missing out on a great opportunity here. With a little creativity and imagination, I think we could have the makings of something big here. I'm not a fan of god, but if you guys could write me into the role, I'd probably be willing to come around.

Here are the rest of the pics...I posted the best ones I think, but in case anyone wants to see a few more. They are from the first and second days.

MJs Golf Outing complete pictures

After you click "view photos" on the first page, you can click "view slideshow" on the upper right and it takes you through them all quite nicely...

And unless someone comes up with some real concrete statistics, you can't convince me (esp from a youtube video) that Gary, Indiana has a higher murder rate than let's say...Caracas, Venezuela!

WOW! What a fantastic weekend. Where do I begin?

First and foremost, THANK YOU JACK! What a great time and excellent host you are my friend. I couldn't thank Gayle and your mom enough for all of their efforts at the dinner on Saturday night. First class all of the way!

I left the office around 11:45 on Friday morning and headed down to Timbergate for the afternoon grudge match between Agent/YYZ and myself/Dunclock. Stopped off at the liquor store in Franklin and got a case of Miller Lite, a bottle of Ketel One, Smirnoff, Jim Beam, Cuervo Golden Margaritta and two Zing Zang Bloody Mary Mixes. Iced everything down and got back on the road. Checked in the Pro Shop and headed up to the Driving Range where YYZ, HH and Agent were getting warmed up. Dunclock showed up a few minutes later and then it was time to get started. Went by the "bar" and poured myself a cocktail and the adventure began!

YYZ/Agent vs. RT/Dunclock was Match Play. Our team also had individual bets with Agent (thanks for the 4 shots a side buddy)! What a great golf course; links style with excellent fairways and greens. Made almost every putt I looked at on the front side and shot a respectable 39 (with a double bogey on #1 and a lipout birdie on #4). I think by this time YYZ had lost 7 or 8 golf balls, but he never lost his temper. Jack and Kosar showed up around the 3rd or 4th holes and watched us for a few hours. It was great to see both of them again and I think they were my good luck charms!

While I had a few miscues on the back 9, I managed to roll a birdie in coming home and shot 82. Agent had 77 and DC had 80. YYZ, well, God Bless him, he lost 17 total golf balls. DC can POUND THE GOLF BALL, let me tell ya. He also has great taste in colleges! YYZ always bounced back with a nice iron shot and couldn't have been more entertaining on the golf course. I would be remiss to not also thank Happy Hippo for taking all of the pics and classing up our group. She's a wonderful gal with a great head on her shoulders.

The five of us checked into the hotel and met Jack and Kosar at Montana Mike's for dinner. Holding true to form that I can't go anywhere without knowing someone, I ran into my old high school Athletic Director and his wife. Dinner was great between the conversation and YYZ's constant one liners :mj07: :mj07: Jack picked up the tab, as usual. What a classy gentleman.

HH and I watched Agent thump DC at gin, then we played Chinese Poker for about an hour or so. Lewehands showed up around 2AM and crashed in my room for the night.

Got up Saturday morning and looked for a grocery store to buy celery and olives at for the Bloody Mary bar. Leaving our parking lot, I looked to the right and saw NOTHING, so I turned left on US-31 and started heading towards Columbus. 2 miles, nothing. 4 miles, nothing. 6 miles, nothing. I called a friend who is from Columbus and asked if they have a fvcking grocery store and she said yeah, you should have turned right out of your hotel parking lot. :142smilie 4 more miles later I found a Kroger and got what I needed. I'm so thankful that YYZ was not with me, because he would have had a field day commenting on not only the other shoppers, but the checkout gal and the bagger. :scared :scared

Met up with the group at Crackerbarrel and met six-five for the first time. He and I rode together to the golf course and I have to thank Jack again for the detailed directions. Would never have found it without them.

For some reason, when I got out of the truck, everyone knew who I was? I would like to guess it's because I wear pink golf shirts, but I think it's my "svelte" figure :142smilie :142smilie :142smilie

EVERYONE was "the nuts"! Handicapper and his son brought MadJack's Golf Outing t-shirts for everyone (yes they had one in my size BTJ)! Very nice touch and a generous one. Thanks again!

Headed up to the driving range and started meeting everyone. Announced that the bar was open in the back of my truck and for everyone to help themselves. Met up with Boilermaker and his buddy. Playing golf with those two was an absolute treat! I thought I could drink and golf, but I might have met my match with Randy (aka ClubVodka). Gmroz.... where to begin? He was priceless on the course... I didn't think there was going to be enough beer to keep him happy! At one time on the back 9 he had a St. Paul, Budweiser and Margarita all working at the same time. That might explain why we had a "man down" on the 18th! Enjoyed getting to chat with everyone, even if for just a few minutes prior to our teeing off. I think we fell a bit behind as the day went. When we were hitting our approach shots on #18 there were at least 10 carts around the green watching us. Talk about pressure! :com: Thankfully we made eagle on the last hole to tie Agent's team at -7. DTB gave me a Nike hybrid club after the round

The party really got going about 2 hours later at Jack's house. What a beautiful home he and Gayle have. And what gracious hosts! The spread was INBELIEVEABLE. I think they could have fed an extra 50 or 60 people easily. Thanks to YYZ, DC and Bohawk for helping to cook the steaks and chicken!

I table hopped all night long going from conversation to conversation. Everyone was having a great time and it's hard to believe that many of us were meeting up in person for the very first time.

I've gone on way to long, but while I had the time I wanted to recap the weekend through my eyes. For those of you couldn't make it, I'm sorry. Plan on attending a MJ get together sometime soon. Everyone I met was friendly and outgoing. You couldn't ask for a better group of people. I enjoyed seeing old friends and meeting up with new ones. Thanks again to Jack for a great weekend and to everyone who attended for making it one I'll never forget. I'm glad everyone made it home safely and I can't wait to do this again!
