Wow guys I don't know what to say.... I'm humbled by the comments, I'm just trying to do the best that I can for my family :toast:


So, I talked to crown counsel today and we will be having a Supreme Court Trial :00hour

Not sure when yet, we will have to re submit our petitions again such as having the girls cross examined by an attorney instead of Tony and well I can't remember what else. But we should know by the end of april when the trial will take place :0074

I also asked her to let me know honestly how I did on the stand, and she said I was phenomenal. I asked her if she would tell me if I did poorly and she said that she sure would, so that was a big relief. She also mentioned that all of the witnesses did tremendously well, so I think we might be in good shape when the trial does come. :toast: She also mentioned that the judge would likely give Tony less leeway regarding his line of questioning in the actual trial.

Having spent so many hours in the courthouse this past year I've been pondering a career change. When all of this is over, I'm going to apply to be a deputy sheriff. If accepted into the program my training would be paid for along with a training wage and a guaranteed position when I get out, but I might have to relocate.......


I would love to be able to meet each and every on of you guys and have a beer, or 2 or 10 :toast:

There is still no trial date set, as we've only had delays and postponements since the spring all originating from the defence not the crown.

The next date is Sept. 2/14 at which time the trial date is supposed to be set.

I used to get pretty frustrated with this process, but it really doesn't matter. It will go forward whenever it goes forward, and I'll be there to support my girls when it does.

My girls are doing great and that's all that matters :00hour

Well Sept 2 came and went with another postponement due to not being able to find counsel willing to cross-examine the girls.

With that being said in the interim another court session has happened unbeknownst to me and a trial date has at long last been set. A 2 week period starting Feb 23 2015.

Well it's getting close. We were served with subpoenas yesterday to attend Supreme court from Feb 23 - March 6. Myself, Tina, Kaitlin and Aliyah will be testifying, they have deemed my youngest who is almost 8 now was/is too young to testify.

I'm not a lawyer but the charges on the subpoena are: Sexual interference of a person under 16, Sexual Assault and Invitation to sexual touching under 16.

I'm looking forward to closing this chapter. Last week we told the girls they would be going back to court again to talk to the judge. The girls were excited to be going back to court "because we get chocolate" Love the innocence of kids.

Aliyah told me later that day that the last time she was embarrassed to say what uncle tony had done to her because the people would hear. I told her that she was very brave to be telling the judge what happened and she didn't have to be embarrassed, that it wasn't her fault but it was important to tell the judge.

I used to hate this man with every fibre of my being, but I came to a point where I wasn't going to allow him to take up any real estate in my mind or emotions and just focus on my family :00hour

Anyways, I would appreciate your prayers again as we work our way through this final chapter of this event.
