Would you be selling at anything above $18?
NO when things start turning around I see GE back in the $30 range

Do you have any thoughts in selling covered calls against GE while you hold it to $30?
If you are planning on holding this for up to two years, you could probably get your cost of your shares down to virtually zero.
You could start with selling 15.00 Jun 09 calls for 0.20.
At some point, you may get called away from the shares, but it's very simple to get back in if you do.
That is a good idea but I don't think I will be doing that.
I got one more stack of cash marked for LEA & I will be done with the market for awhile with summer travel coming soon.

The head of the largest U.S. conglomerate said he was "encouraged" by the restructuring of the GE Capital finance unit. :0corn

gonna try to add today should it dip back down to 13.70
i added yesterday but can't add to IRA (all in). i am playing it on margin in my cash account :SIB
SSO - just my opinion but i'd rather have 3000 shares of AA than 1000 of SSO. i think a safer bet with more potential of a bigger gain in the long haul
those ETF's scare the shit outta me.
good luck.Now I got both :SIB bought 1000 shares of AA @ $9.94 :0corn
I like AA too but the S&P is going no where but up long term  when it get's back to 1400 in 2 years SSO will be around $100 :00hour
lance, you have SGI (RACK)? things are starting to look up, bud :0corn
Personally, I think you will have a better opportunity to buy. Long term, it won't matter too much, but I don't think we go straight up from here. I think we see sub-8000 again for sure.
