agent not being a dick here but can you descibe that a little better. Is he pushing the top of your fist to the ground? Im just curious cause i recently did something to my shoulder and its killing me. Started working out again but i never felt anything benching. Cleaned out my attic for four days on my hands and kness and now all the sudden i cant lift anything. I always have shoulder pain but it comes and goes. This one isnt going away. I think you meant he was on top of your hand pushing down. I just tried this and it felt like the top off my shoulder was gonna explode. The pain now is traveling to the side of my armpit and close to my tricep. I don't think its arthritis or bursitis because i have some great meds for this. Since you are being a buddy now can you help doc?

You are correct sir, thumb down at ground, he presses on top of hand towards ground. The difference is INSTANT after he adjusts me. He called it super supraspinatus or some shit?

When he popped my shoulder back in, he said this is going to feel like a knife, took his thumb and cranked around and POP back in! Had tears in my eyes and was bruised for 4 days. It was squeezing so hard it affected my hearing and would occasionally blurr my vision.

.

Jeez i think i have all of those symptoms. Taking the shirt off is a nightmare. As for a good night sleep i havent had one of those in weeks. I know exactly what the doctor will try to do. First that phony xray that doesn't tell shit and they know it doesn't. Then me pleading for an MRI but he wants to give me 800mg motrins. I will just gut it out and hope it goes away.

On the course!
Reaching behind to put an arm in a shirt sleeve is a killer for me. Slipping a pullover on can be very painful!

I have half of those "symptoms". My shoulder "clicks and pops" all of the time. Sometimes it feels great for a short while after that.

Sleeping on that side is impossible, and if I rest flat on my stomach, the shoulder kills me, too.

yyz you ever do a spin in the night to try to get on the good shoulder because you dont want to push off with your arm on the bad shoulder side? LOL same shit with me sleeping on my stomach. And man if you have a shitty matress it is worse. I bought one of those shitty futons to use in my office and that matress blows. I had to stop sleeping on it because it was so brutal. Today it isn't that bad but later it will be. Looks like the humidity doesn't help it much. I have a nice tens unit that usually helps this kind of crap but that isn't even working.

The popping noise was the exact reason I asked him about my shoulder. We were in a golf outing and I said is it normal for your shoulder to make this noise, then acted like I was throwing a ball in slow motion and "bang, snap, crack, pop". He said your shoulder is unstable you better do something about it soon. Well I didn't, I just went on till the pain was so unbearable. To be honest, if it wasn't for Golf I may never have gone in. With no strength in my right arm I had no punch in my swing and was having to spin the upper body to compensate. Began hitting a monstrous hook and hated it. If I don't stay on top of my exercises I get locked back up, the exercises actually strengthen the muscles that hold the shoulder in place. He adjusts me back in and I strengthen to keep it there. As for sleeping, that is my biggest problem. I sleep on my sides and that fukcs me up. I use a foam pillow that is perfectly level with my head and keeps my neck from being at an angle. Also, when having some pain I lay on my stomach and put the pillow under my right side to sort of pop the shoulder backwards. After my first adjustment I began to realize how much I was compensating during normal life, I was even walking different! Standing dif, swinging dif, everything. Lay flat on your back and push your shoulder blades flat to the floor.

OUCH!

I actually feel better after several days of golf in a row, but then when I take a break for a couple days I get locked up because I don't stretch like I should.

All of the time.

I'm so used to the pain and discomfort now, that I always remember it, but early on I would wake up, and rearrange my bed position and the pain would shoot through my arm.

Now, I always make sure to avoid hurting the arm. I just use the left arm to flip over.

Could be worse we could have this pain in both shoulders. I have my brothers old girlfriends dog over tonight and the fuker is spoiled and wont sleep on the floor so i have to negotiate all night with this thing in the bed. Dam thing wants to sleep right in the center of the bed. Dog wont sleep with my brother. I think its pissed off or something. This is gonna be a nightmare. I may need some assistance tonight to stay asleep. She dropped him off and the little fuker smells like a horse blanket. Nice of her.

Skimmed through most of this post and would love to try and make the MJ's golf outing (if can get off work which shouldn't be a problem) .... just moved to Chicago from KC late last year and not sure how long of a drive it would be from Chi-town (guessing about 4 hours maybe??) .... will try and figure out for sure if I can make it soon, is there a deadline we have to let you know by Jack?? Thanks.

When I get there...

Six Five better have a southern accent and Kosar better be under 5'4" or I'm heading straight back home.
