i hear this is great radio. Heard around the seven minute mark it gets unbelievable

being a father and having listened to this stuff for 2 days and read the grad jury report there's no doubt in my mind:
1) paterno knew what his "friend" was up to which is why sandusky "retired" right around the time of the first reported incident that paterno was told about
2) its highly likely the disappearance and death of the da is related to this incident
3) sandusky should rot in hell and it wouldnt surprise me if he took the easy way out and put a gun in his mouth shortly
4) paterno, the ad, the pres ALL should be held accountable for not reporting this to the authorities and esp for giving him athletic dept access after they "knew" what his mo was back in 98
5) paterno should NEVER coach another game....he should be "suspended immediately" and then "relieved of his duties" shortly
6) all the people who actually saw this sick fuk performing sexual acts but didnt confront him immediately, or contact police (too woried about their jobs/etc) have some serious soul searching to do
maybe it's just me and i'm wired differently (and who knows how we'd react in any situation) but i cant imagine seeing that crap and NOT beating the living shit out of the old fuk, then asking questions and then calling the cops......

Maybe they didn't want to end up like the DA :shrug: That is how powerful that crooked fuk Paterno is at Penn State and all the gullible nitwits i have fought for years who worship the ground this asshole walked on. I wouldn't be surprised that Sandusky has something on Paterno so Joe has to keep his mouth shut. Like fixing games together :shrug:

according to Kim Jones there is absolutely no doubt that Paterno knew of the 1998 assault which led to his dismissing Sandusky. Then there's no doubt he knew about the 2000 one, then the 2002 one (which is public knowledge that McQueary informed him that Sandusky was in the PSU shower anally raping a 10 year old), and was allowing his old pal to bring little boys to closed practices in 2007 and host overnight football camps for 10 and 11 year olds, on PSU campuses (!) as late as 2009.
the 1998 incident was reported and police hid in the basement to listen while the mother of a child that was molested confronted Sandusky and heard Sandusky confess, ask for forgiveness, and wish he was dead. this case was taken to the DA (so clearly Joe Pa knew about it since Sandusky was still coaching) but it ended when the District Attorney went missing and ultimately found dead with his laptop completely cleaned out.
a few months after the 1998 incident Sandusky was dismissed (retired, whatever) from coaching likely due to the charges that had now disappeared against Sandusky but allowed to continue to use PSU facilities and bring boys from his Foundation to practices and facilities. Although Joe knew about the 1998 incident more allegations came up in 2000, the more famous one in 2002, and then several more for the next 8 years.
The 2002 was the current recruiting coordinator and WR coach, Mike McQueary personally witnessing Sandusky anally raping a 10 year old in the PSU shower while pinning the kid to the wall. McQueary went to Joe Pa who let the AD know but they all brushed it under the rug as "horsing around"...yeah, i'm serious, those exact words "horsing around".

You guys should go read Penn State's scout football forum. It's one thing to support your team/school/coach but wow, are those people blinded to reality.

So am I reading the report correctly? A mother knew of her son showering with sandusky in 1998. And the university police and child protective services knew of allegations in the same year? No excuse for paterno's lack of action at all. Sad thins is all of this should have been stopped a long time ago.
Pretty disgusting. Too bad we don't see this level of outrage directed towards the priests that have been doing this shit for years.

I have seen some adults on these sites who support this asshole too. It really makes ya wonder what happens to a person mind when they have to worship a fuking football coach or some athlete. Getting devastated because their hero who is just a fuking football coach has disappointed them.
