topless carwash

seriously, oil change and carwash all in one...

these guys here bank big bucks, its so busy there it is not even funny

They are great, no doubt about it, but we're talking $2 to $3 million and that's out of my league. And I am not financing anything at this stage of the game/life.

I know a guy who has one in Richmond and he hates it. He does okay but the company is steady on his ass monitoring him and his usage of ingredients. They have a formula to determine how many donuts you sell and if you use more jelly filling, for instance, they will say you sold 500 jelly donuts and charge him for 500 jelly donuts when he only sold 250. That's why the fillings in Dunkin Donuts is VERY light.

Up here the local stores stppped making the Donuts, all made in one location and shipped daily.

Doubt I could handle owning a Frachise, wouldn't care for being told how to run my business :0008

Maybe that's how they do it everywhere now. I haven't talked to that guy since about 1995. He was an out of town hearing aid customer of mine.

Apparently no one here owns franchise so far.

not a franchise but storage business seems lucrative--not much over head after initial cost.

Don't know bout where you live but here we have a fungus/mold on roofs.

Would great venture to go into business removing (bleach) or store bought chemicals.
Would be tough finding dependable help that weren't scared of heights. (liabilty and workmans comp would be high also).

I like this idea and checked current storage businesses that were for sale so I could get an idea on cost. Looks like 2-5 million for a decent one so that knocks me out.

--few more

got a client who does well cleaning office buildings--main complaint is he has to work too much himself as help always quiting or taking off.

Have another client that makes a killing resurfacing (sealing) factory floors--another has done well long term sealing and striping parking lots/driveways.

Price out building new.....We looked into it a couple years back with some of the Steel Companies and it wasn't bad.

What are you talking about

http://blog.marketamerica.com/blog/about_market_america/
Give it a read. I would have to ask others what it is all about cause i just know a little about it. Something to do with buying merchandise on line at lower prices but not positive. I know i have one friend that is big in it and a few at a smaller scale. Non of those guys own a website which to me puts u at a big advantage.

Hey Jack - you don't need to "buy" into a franchise. You just need to think one up. Think of a clever name. Find a retail location with decent rent. Find a food supplier. Liquor distributor. Advertise. Make a killing.

Jack, I dont know about where you live...but Ritas in PA are gold mines.....1st off youre only open 7 months max...you have little overhead and a small little shack and hire HS kids for minimum wage...this little thing attracts kids baseball, softball, summer basketball teams like flys on horseshit....

to boot you can get a little cart and take it to sporting events, concerts, car shows, carnivals, picnics, etc...

most people have more than one and take in the coin.then take off for 5 months..im assuming they are pricey is because they make money....
Unfortunately we are not yet offering franchises in Indiana. We will keep your information in our database and will contact you in the future when Rita?s is ready to begin expanding in Indiana.

Upstairs watching sports on the big TV.
on the subject of donut shops

on the subject of donut shops

Someone needs to come up with the idea of a usage-product for the donut shops after-hours.
Donut shops see their biz die at lunch time thru evenings; it would be a potential gold mine.

Tons of valuable real-estate sitting idle when the donut crowd gets their sugar and coffee fix.

It may be that franchisees are handcuffed?

Seems a small specialized restaurant/donut/deli shop would be a natural.

Building Storage Units, usually had good deals on material :0008

Cost of storage units -

You will need.......

Land - to be successful - you need land with a decent location. You can make a decent income leasing space to RV owners etc....but you also need a really good fence.
HVAC Units - you have to have climate controlled units.
Lighting - no one will lease from you without good outdoor lighting.
Easy tractor trailer access
for starters........

In the shadows
Jack: There is a business that involves little capital investment I was looking into after a friend started one up and was doing well. I forget the name of the franchises, but it is kind of like an assisted living thing where you send people to the homes of people that need extra help....old, disabled, or temporarily injured people. It is non-medical. Sometimes you help them clean the house, other times you clean them. Who knows, just whatever they need. It's non-medical care, so you don't to pay nurse wages. My buddy said it started slowly, but once he started networking with hospitals, clients started coming in pretty regularly.

Nuts,

There is a Nationwide Agency that I have used in the past when I was in bad shape with my bad mnigraines.

I can send you the info, there are Franchise Opportunities.

I have heard advertisements on local radio, (Hannity) I know, my dad listens to him, and have seen the commercials, on Fox, same deal  But it does have a huge audience.

**** I can send it to you, no spam bombs will follow ! **** ANyone whom I have sent stuff to, has not been spam bombed ! :0008
