Up here the local stores stppped making the Donuts, all made in one location and shipped daily.
Doubt I could handle owning a Frachise, wouldn't care for being told how to run my business :0008
Maybe that's how they do it everywhere now. I haven't talked to that guy since about 1995. He was an out of town hearing aid customer of mine.
Apparently no one here owns franchise so far.

Don't know bout where you live but here we have a fungus/mold on roofs.
Would great venture to go into business removing (bleach) or store bought chemicals.
Would be tough finding dependable help that weren't scared of heights. (liabilty and workmans comp would be high also).

got a client who does well cleaning office buildings--main complaint is he has to work too much himself as help always quiting or taking off.
Have another client that makes a killing resurfacing (sealing) factory floors--another has done well long term sealing and striping parking lots/driveways.

Price out building new.....We looked into it a couple years back with some of the Steel Companies and it wasn't bad.

Give it a read. I would have to ask others what it is all about cause i just know a little about it. Something to do with buying merchandise on line at lower prices but not positive. I know i have one friend that is big in it and a few at a smaller scale. Non of those guys own a website which to me puts u at a big advantage.
Hey Jack - you don't need to "buy" into a franchise. You just need to think one up. Think of a clever name. Find a retail location with decent rent. Find a food supplier. Liquor distributor. Advertise. Make a killing.

Someone needs to come up with the idea of a usage-product for the donut shops after-hours.
Donut shops see their biz die at lunch time thru evenings; it would be a potential gold mine.
Tons of valuable real-estate sitting idle when the donut crowd gets their sugar and coffee fix.
It may be that franchisees are handcuffed?
Seems a small specialized restaurant/donut/deli shop would be a natural.

You will need.......
Land - to be successful - you need land with a decent location. You can make a decent income leasing space to RV owners etc....but you also need a really good fence.
HVAC Units - you have to have climate controlled units.
Lighting - no one will lease from you without good outdoor lighting.

I have heard advertisements on local radio, (Hannity) I know, my dad listens to him, and have seen the commercials, on Fox, same deal :facepalm: But it does have a huge audience.
