I wonder if one PSU player will walk up to Paterno and hand him his jersey and say " I can not wear this now knowing what you stand for."

Most of them were between the ages of 10-13 during the period of 1998-2002. Except for the grace of God , there goes I.

Will one of them have the courage to do it?

You can't punish the players because of a coach's mistake. Absolutely he should step down though.

One hand I agree but I also do not think that the University should benefit financially from continuing to play football. I can only imagine what type of coin the college and State Park brings in on football Saturday. Lions were in line for a possible BCS bowl bid and the millions that go along with that.

I also can not imagine that the players and coaches are going to be mentally prepared to play against the likes of Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Ohio State in coming weeks and the college putting them out on the field to face possible injury when they are not prepared, seems to me to be a poor decision.

The fact that the kids were not to blame for the coaches sins does not seem to be enough of a justification for the BOT to allow them to continue.

This is definitely more of a priority to them than getting this other inconvenience settled. Unbelievable!

That's exactly what I was thinking. How do these guys play another down for that coach again?

The players gave paterno a standing ovation after he met with them this morning.

You can't even respond to that Cie. Sad and absolutely disgusting. I really hope there is more dignity from the fans point of view than the players. If that place is close to being full, I will be sickened.

I know people make fun of people from the south in jest, and most is all in good fun. However, if he is on the sidelines, the stadium is full, and he is exalted; it would make Penn State "fans" the most horrific in the country.

You GOTTA do Pesci, it's very effective :0003

Good luck, bro, hope you get their attention and help them reverse their decision.

They will not let me on. They just called to do a pre-interview, and I was told "that I need to be fair". I explained that there is no such thing as "fair" in this circumstance and if they are wanting a pawn to go somewhere the fawk else. If they want good radio, let me on.

the pres
the old fuck coach
the chicken shit ga

the "board" looks like a bunch of weak fucks enabling the enablers

if they had any balls they could have been the FIRST one's on this situation to do the right thing and should have "suspended indefinitely" all three of those fucks on monday

The longer they wait, the more and more they have the appearance of knowing and part of it as well. I completely agree someone needs to drop the hammer and fast. If JoePa coaches on Saturday it will be a shame that I dont know if Penn State will be able to bounce back from.

Also, the GradAssistant that failed to do anything when he witnessed the 10 year old being anally raped is now the HEAD RECRUITER for Penn State, how the hell does this guy look any young kid and their parents in the eye. I think his career is done as well.

Failure to Act immediately is explainable, however continuing to see this piece of shit on a weekly basis and knowing he still was having camps for young boys and you do nothing is NOT.

this is the biggest aspect of this whole "cover up" story......how was this fuck still on and around campus/athletic dept for 5-6 more years after the 2002 incident when his "keys were taken away".

a whole lot of explanin to do and all i hear are fans cheering and an old fuck talking about how he's gonna run things from here on out.

thanks for your resignation, it's not accepted....your terminated immediately....or, if they too chicken shit....your resignation is accepted and you retirement is effective on jan 1 2012 but you are suspended immediately and will not coach another game.

woud paterno have handled this situation the same way had the 10 yo child "horsing around" in the shower with a naked Sandusky in 2002 been one of his 16 grandchildren?

"when a old woman chases a young man, it makes her a cougar, so when a old man chases a young man, does it make him a nittany lion?"

this is a text i have gotten today 3 times in forwards from people, one of them being my own brother

i have seen a lot of jokes about it...

am i the only one who is fuckin just as much disgusted by the jokes as i am the actions...

fuckin unreal how people can make jokes and not give a shit when they are not related to the friends/families of the victims...

i can assure you if it was their children who had their innocence/childhoods destroyed because of this sick fuckin prick, the jokes would be much different....

fuckin sick people can think ilke that....

not callin anyone out on the site, but wtf are people thinking.....think of your family...

and yes, i told my brother all of this....i think thats why it pissed me off so badly today....

This is something I really hate about big programs. Supporters worship the coaches. This is BIG BUSINESS. The integrity of most of these coaches is on par with Wall Street at this point. Some have it, some don't. Generally, the longer the guy has been there, the more he has probably compromised it.

There are many other programs that would have similar responses from the diehard followers of those teams. This is not an indictment of Penn State fans any more than the whole sold out corrupt system and how blind all it's followers have become.
